Quarter Of Challenges

        We started our classes last October 5 and it was like a blink of an eye and we didn't realize that we are now in the month of December and we all know that December is the month which we celebrate the holiday break. Also, this school year, first quarter of classes ends this December and I want to ask you a few questions, "How was your first quarter?", "Did you enjoy it?", "Did it makes you happy?" and "What did you discover and learn?". Maybe you will answer, "Great, I enjoyed it and it makes me happy. I learned so many things and I discovered what I didn't discover last school year". But for me, that answer will not be my answer because this first quarter gave me different challenges and many problems and these problems and challenges that I encountered made me strong and gave me the knowledge to be able to continue this upcoming second quarter.

         I gained so much knowledge and learned different lessons and topics this first quarter, such as how to make blogs and how to define the sine and cosine functions. I learned about the different types of textual aids and I also discovered the continental drift theory of Alfred Wegener and seafloor spreading theory of the Princeton geologist Harry Hess and many more exciting lessons in different subjects.

         During the first quarter I encountered many challenges and problems and this includes, sleeping late at night because of answering my modules, not eating meals at the right time because I'm busy doing school activities, having headaches due to lack of sleep, getting sick due to fatigue and stress and sometimes no internet connections. All of these challenges and problems that I encountered makes me stronger. I overcome these challenges because of the help of my family and friends. They are the one who motivates me to continue what I already started and they told me to fight until the end. Even if it's hard never give up. 

      Moving on, I will do my best so that I can overcome different challenges that I may encounter and I hope I will enjoy this upcoming second quarter and I really hope that this upcoming quarters can make me happy.

Rise Up And Save The Earth

 

            It was just a blink of the year, 2020 is almost over. Maybe you and I both didn't realize so much happened to our earth in just a short year. Our world experienced many problems, such as global warming and climate change. Until now we are still experiencing this problems, many animals lost their homes and many nature lost their beautiful sceneries because of the effects of global warming and climate change. One of the effect of global warming is the melting of ice in Antarctica that causes many animals lost it's accommodation. If global warming and climate change continues many individuals; humans and animals will suffer and experience its cruel effects.

         

                 As we all know, our earth's biggest problem is global warming and climate change. Our green environment and beautiful sceneries of nature is slowly disappearing. What do you think is the reason why our earth is experiencing global warming and climate change? According to research by scientists, the main reason that cause a global warming and climate change include greenhouse effect, harmful aerosol in the atmosphere, dust, sun movement and the remaining reasons are directly related to human activities, such as burning fossil fuels, cutting down rainforests and farming livestock. With the global warming and climate change, natural disasters, such as storms and floods have occurred more frequently.  

           

                 Are there any ways to prevent global warming and climate change? Yes there are! We all know June 5 every year is world environment day, we can act ourselves. In order to protect our world and prevent global warming and climate change from occurring, we should plant trees in the forest, use energy wisely, support or join activities that helps the environment, recycle plastics, use sustainable transportation and most of all be discipline. If we all do this activities we can prevent and protect our world from global warming and climate change.    

         

              Let's all help each other and work together to protect our environment and make it as beautiful as before. Save our environment for a sustainable future.
